Since that time Poly Gold has undergone rigorous testing of it’s unique formula. In a recent test, an automobile engine was treated with PTFE, the oil was drained and the engine ran without oil for half an hour. The water temperature never rose and the engine sustained no apparent damage.

"This test was conducted under laboratory controlled conditions.
We do not recommend this test be duplicated. It could cause catastrophic damage to the engine."
